Don't worry guys, I won't show you just old pics in my next posts...Here is something from my second-last haul ;-)
A couple days after I came back fromLondon with my precious load of Max Factor polishes I heard from fellow italian nailbloggers that the Max Effect displays appeared in certain stores (Coin, Sirene Blu); I'm really happy about that, usual MF polishes (big “old style” bottles) have quite boring shades, I never stopped by a display for a second glance.

Anyway here is the first I tried, n. 42
Moon Dust (also the first that caught my attention, after FF, of course):
from the bottle I expected (or better hoped for) a purple-grey
duochrome, but actually the polish has a grey-purple jelly base
(see first coat on wheel) with many pink and blue
microglitters.
It's quite sheer so I applied three coats to have an almost opaque result. I love the shade but I wish it was more pigmented!

After all maybe it's better to save
your energy and use it as a layering polish...At the bottom of the post is my first
attempt, others will follow.
P.S.: a person I love is having a bad time and I'm not sure whether I will use the blog as my decompression space or won't be in the mood for posting about polishes in the next weeks. Just wanted to warn you: in case I appear MIA, well there's a reason.

Non disperate, non vedrete proprio solo cose vecchie nei prossimi post ^_^ questo è uno dei "penultimi" arrivi!
Prima di tutto: i Max Factor Max Effect
(quelli che ho portato a casa da Londra) sono arrivati in Italia!
Testimoni super attendibili li hanno visti da Coin e alle Sirene Blu
(in FVG) quindi andate a farci un giro se vi interessano.
Questo è il primo che ho provato, il 42 Moon Dust (anche il primo che ho deciso di comprare, dopo FF ovviamente): dalla boccetta immaginavo (speravo) in un viola duochrome grigio, in realtà è composto da una base jelly viola grigio (v. foto della prima passata su ruota) con microglitter rosa e azzurro.
E' abbastanza leggero, dopo tre
passate mi sono fermata, comunque non soddisfatta dalla coprenza,
anche se il colore mi piace un casino.
Secondo me molto meglio risparmiarsi la fatica e
usarlo come smalto da layering (sotto il mio primo esperimento, più
avanti ne aggiungerò altri)!
P.S.: una persona a me molto cara sta passando un momento difficile...Non so se nelle prossime settimane il blog diventerà il mio spazio di decompressione o al contrario non mi andrà di scrivere di smalti e simili. Giusto per avvisarvi, in caso sparissi di colpo dalla blogosfera.
